Speech Pathologist – Community-based, Mandurah and Peel region

The role

As the Speech Pathologist, you will work closely with paediatric NDIS participants with various disabilities in the scheme, their families, other allied health professionals and support workers to deliver quality, person-centred, and customer focused outcomes in an efficient and safe working environment.

The duties and responsibilities of the Speech Pathologist will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide assessment, intervention and evaluation for NDIS participants
  • Provide speech pathology clinical practice in direct care delivery through application of evidence-based practice and policy
  • Educate, support and liaise with participants, carers, colleagues, medical, nursing, allied health professionals to provide multi-disciplinary care
  • Ensure all documentation is appropriately updated to the clinical standard required by Speech Pathology Australia and the NDIS
  • Adhere to code of ethics and practices
  • Participate in review meetings and case conferences as appropriate


About You

To be considered for the role, you will have at least 1 year experience in a similar community-based NDIS role along with:

  • Tertiary degree in Speech Pathology
  • Current and full registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Current police clearance
  • Current WA Working with Children Check and NDIS worker check
  • Current driving licence
  • Full Australian working rights
