About the role

Lifecare Homecare is a leading provider of community allied health services in Perth, and they are seeking a Senior Speech Pathologist to join the team. In this role you will be providing clinical assessments, developing, and implementing therapy programs, and providing resources to clients and their families ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes.

In this role you will work alongside with other Allied Health Practitioners to ensure your clients receive a holistic approach, whilst establishing referral connections with existing and new referrers, you will be required to write and prepare reports for the relevant funding bodies such as NDIS.

Lifecare Homecare provide allied health services to individuals in their own homes, with a focus on aged and disability care therefore we are seeking a Speech Pathologist with experience in working with the older adults and/or disability demographic.

What will make you successful?

  • Relevant qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Experience minimum of 4 years, preferably in Community, NDIS or Homecare
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Exceptional observational and report writing skills.
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; and ability to work autonomously in the community.
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Clean driver licence, access to own vehicle and comprehensive car insurance.
  • Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, or able to obtain.
  • Willing to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application.
