Hospitality Food & Beverage Coordinator – Major Events


Job purpose:

VenuesLive WA, the proud operator of Optus Stadium, is offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Hospitality Food & Beverage Coordinator to join its energetic and service-focused team on a 12-month contract. This role is central to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences to key hirers, clients, and partners of the stadium. You will oversee and execute the complete hospitality coordination process—including premium suites, corporate boxes, and satellite catering—for assigned Event Partners, ensuring every detail reflects excellence.


Your focus will be
:

  • Develop ongoing relationships with key venue hirers, clients, and internal stakeholders, and partners of Optus Stadium.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to coordinate their specific hospitality requirements for each individual event post the pre-planning hand over to event execution
    • Responding in a timely manner to all Hirer enquires.
    • Finalise with Hirer’s all details as required to ensure the optimum execution of their event day hospitality program.
    • Communicate to the Hospitality Food & Beverage Operations and delivery teams all details as pertaining to major event hospitality and ensure Event Order information is relevant and up to date.
    • Manage finalisation of major event hospitality from follow up to post event invoicing.
    • Respond in a timely manner to all client enquires, feedback and complaints.
    • Review, maintain, set-up, and test the online client ordering portal (EventHub) for smooth integration with UBS and TASK retail.
  • Liaise and coordinate with the Kitchen for specific menu requirements for each individual event.
  • Implement event day plans within established event planning processes and ensure event day information is distributed in a timely manner to all interested parties.
  • Share performance feedback on Food & Beverage casual staff to support service excellence and help identify talent for progression into supervisory or multi-skilled roles.


To be succes
sful, you will have:

  • Full working rights in Australia (essential)
  • 2-3 years’ experience in a similar food and beverage or hospitality role (essential)
  • Diploma or degree qualifications in Event Management or Hospitality Management (desirable)
  • Demonstrated operational experience in event, venue or other large-scale catering operation (essential)
  • Strong competency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Exposure and competency with event management software (UBS preferred)
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certification (essential)

While standard hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, the nature of the event industry means that you will be required to work outside these hours particularly around events being held at Optus Stadium and Stadium Park.
