This firm is currently looking for an motivated Payroll Officer to join their supportive team during a period of change, on a temporary basis, as soon as possible.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a close-knit supportive team, you will be responsible for:
- Fortnightly payroll processing for 800+ employees
- PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
- Processing terminations and payroll adjustments
- Interpreting numerous awards and EBAs
- Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
- Additional tasks to assist your payroll colleagues
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Ability to hit the ground running and work collaboratively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Positive can-do attitude
- Prior experience using TechnologyOne is highly advantageous
- Flexible hybrid work - 2 days in the office & 3 days from home
- Down-to-earth, friendly team environment
- Attractive hourly rate ($40 - $45 per hour + super, dependent on experience)
- Office located in Footscray with onsite parking and close to public transport
