Role Overview
We’re looking for a proactive and technically skilled individual to join our Technology team as a Systems Administrator. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in infrastructure support who thrives on maintaining stable, secure environments and continuously improving core systems.
You’ll be part of our Infrastructure team, supporting the firm’s hybrid on-premises and cloud platforms that underpin legal operations across our Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, maintain, and improve core infrastructure services across Windows Server and Linux (Red Hat, Ubuntu)
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments (IaaS and PaaS)
- Manage incidents, service requests, and system changes in line with best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, escalating where necessary
- Contribute to automation efforts using scripting languages and tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, and Pulumi.
- Maintain strong documentation and follow established processes and standards
- Work collaboratively across teams to ensure stability, security, and performance of critical platforms
About you
- A systems thinker with solid experience across Windows Server, Linux, virtualisation, networking, and storage
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Proficient in scripting or infrastructure automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python, Pulumi)
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented and process-driven, with a passion for stable, secure systems and continuous learning
