Exciting opportunity to join NAB's Consumer Finance division as a Manager – Qantas Money Credit Cards. This pivotal role will see you providing thought leadership for the Qantas Money White Label Partnership and in particular the Qantas Money branded Credit Cards.

In the role of Manager – Qantas Money Credit Cards, each day, you’ll go above and beyond to take ownership of:

Financial Management

  • Take ownership of the ongoing development of the Qantas Money Credit Cards product suite;
  • Ownership of the Qantas Money Credit Cards P&L and non-financial metrics to deliver sustainable growth and meet return hurdles
  • Review in-depth product profitability and pricing analysis to identify key contributors of revenue, expense and credit losses
  • Lead discussions with the Partner on initiatives and drive towards outcomes supporting growth & profitability
  • Track and review P&L performance (financial, growth, operational and customer) to assess opportunities,
  • Collaborate with Acquisition Strategy Manager & Portfolio Lead to identify revenue growth initiatives and review current actions and impact to profitability

Product Management

  • Lead discussions with Risk on the credit scorecard, credit overlays in order to maximise risk/return trade-off for the business.
  • Develop product strategy in consultation with the Partner and continually review product range to ensure its viability
  • Develop and maintain best-in class value propositions, product pricing and profitability management, formulating product offers, features and pricing strategies that create market differentiation.
  • Lead implementation of key product initiatives - technical or customer enhancements.
  • Competitor products and market trend analysis
  • Development and delivery of all partnership governance material
  • Work closely with Decision Management and Portfolio lead to develop portfolio analytics/segmentation framework and identify opportunities for profitability optimisation
  • Ensure the product team follow internal controls to reduce operational risk and compliance with policies.
  • Proactively manage risk, meeting all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to process and procedures pertinent to the role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance).

  • Extensive experience in Financial Services and Product experience
  • Proven experience across Unsecured Lending business and partnership management
  • Demonstrated understanding of the business and its customers, consistently looking for opportunities to improve business performance.
  • Strong Analysis and Decision-Making skills
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills with the ability to lead change and positive innovation
