We are currently looking for an experienced Security or Network Engineer with strong Cisco Secure Access skills to work on a nine-month contract based in Brisbane.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for leading the implementation and optimisation of Cisco Secure Access technologies, including support for private access enablement. The position involves both hands-on technical work and advisory input to help shape the direction of the project.

This role is ideal for someone who can not only deliver technical outcomes but also provide strategic guidance—helping the team improve how they use Cisco Secure Access and get more value from the platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and optimise components of the Cisco Secure Access Suite
  • Provide expertise across Firewalls, Identity Services, VPN as a Service, and end-point replacement
  • Guide internal teams on best practices and efficient use of Cisco technologies
  • Support the enablement of Private Access and secure remote connectivity
  • Deliver knowledge transfer and contribute to long-term capability building

Skills Required:

  • Solid experience with Cisco Secure Access tools and architecture
  • Strong background in networking, security protocols, and Cisco security solutions
  • Ability to assess current configurations and recommend improvements
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Availability to start immediately in Brisbane

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNP Security or CCIE Security
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with complex security needs
