The Role
As an Account Development Representative in Australia, you’ll join Postman’s growing APAC ADR team and take the lead in generating a pipeline across the Australian market.
You’ll work closely with mid-market and enterprise AEs to target strategic accounts, uncover opportunities, and run smart, insight-led outreach. It’s a role with genuine impact on pipeline, positioning, and how Postman shows up in the market.
You’ll also be the face of Postman at local events and meetups, helping to grow brand presence on the ground. The Sydney location helps you stay connected to the team, customers, and broader community, while still offering flexibility day to day.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Driving outbound and inbound pipeline aligned to Postman’s ICP
- Running thoughtful, strategic outreach using tools like Gong Engage and LinkedIn
- Working closely with AEs on campaigns, messaging, and territory planning
- Delivering clean handovers with full context, notes, and CRM discipline
- Feeding back market insights to help shape content, campaigns, and outreach
What You Bring To The Role
We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take ownership of a region and contribute to something bigger than quota.
You’re likely already in a BDR/SDR role and looking to step into more. You’re motivated by solving real problems for customers, and you’ve got the maturity to handle complex conversations—internally and externally.

- Experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Confidence, qualifying both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strong research skills and a strategic, thoughtful approach to outreach
- Clear communication and comfort using modern prospecting tools
- Curiosity around APIs and tech (no coding required—just interest)
- Ability to represent Postman at local events and meetups
