Position Overview

The Residential Marketing Manager is a senior professional role within the Residential Experience Division, responsible for designing and delivering innovative marketing and communication strategies to support the recruitment of prospective residents and enhance student engagement. Reporting to the Accommodation Services Manager, this position leads the implementation of the Student Accommodation Marketing Plan (SAMP), manages multichannel campaigns, oversees brand development for ANU residences, and contributes to the broader strategic goals of the division. The role requires strong stakeholder engagement skills, a data-informed mindset, and the ability to operate with creativity and autonomy in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a skilled and experienced professional with postgraduate qualifications or an equivalent combination of education, training, and management expertise. You will have a proven ability to design and deliver creative marketing or communications campaigns that engage diverse stakeholders. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including editing and reporting, are essential. You will demonstrate leadership in motivating and supporting teams to achieve results, while building effective internal networks. The role requires flexibility, initiative, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and relationship databases is also required.
