Our City Operations team is on the ground (and in the soil), actively shaping the spaces people walk through, cycle past, picnic on and play in every day. Irrigation Tradesperson

Full-time, Fixed Term until June 2026

Starting at $78,300 + 12% super + income protection & journey insurance

Help keep our iconic Park Lands, gardens, and streetscapes green and thriving. As our new Irrigation Tradesperson, you’ll apply your trade skills to maintain irrigation systems that support Adelaide’s most loved green spaces. This isn’t just about watering the grass, it’s about preserving biodiversity, enabling play, and supporting public wellbeing.

You'll use your expertise in irrigation systems, controllers and pipe work to make sure everything flows smoothly. From daily planning and hands-on work to contributing to city-shaping capital projects, this is your chance to bring your skills to a team that truly values your craft.

General Labourer – Infrastructure Maintenance

Full-time, Permanent

$69,042 + super + 9-day fortnight + income protection & journey insurance

If you're practical, switched on and love being outdoors, this is your opportunity to be part of a team maintaining the physical backbone of our city. From roads and stormwater systems to footpaths and streetscapes, you'll get your hands dirty building and maintaining infrastructure that thousands rely on every day.

You'll be behind the controls of machinery like MR trucks and skid steers, but also in front of the community, so a great attitude and a team-first mindset are essential.

Who We're Looking For:

For the Irrigation Tradesperson:

• Trade qualifications in Amenity Horticulture or a related field
• Experience maintaining automatic irrigation systems
• Knowledge of horticultural best practices and WHS standards

For the General Labourer:

• MR Truck Licence, White Card, and WZTM accreditation
• Knowledge of civil construction practices and safe machinery operation
• Certificate III in Civil Construction (or equivalent experience)
