The Role:
We are looking for a seasoned Microsoft Dynamics 365 Consultant to lead solution design, configuration and customisation of our core ERP system. In this hands-on, multifaceted role, you will be a functional consultant, solution architect, mentor and trusted advisor, all in one. Working in a collaborative Agile team, you will guide business stakeholders through transformative system change and ensure long-term technical health of our platforms.
This role reports to the Executive Manager - Information Technology and works closely with Finance, Purchasing, Business Transformation and external vendors.
You will:
- Own the design, configuration and continuous improvement of Business Central, ensuring long-term platform health and stability
- Lead discovery workshops, solution design, sprint planning, demos and user training
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable solutions
- Build and maintain integrations across platforms like Urbanise, CTB, Payroll and our analytics stack
- Develop extensions using AL language and solve complex technical issues
- Act as the primary technical and functional expert for Business Central
- Provide leadership in system governance, architectural compliance and digital innovation
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture
Your Profile:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive, hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central across both functional and technical domains
- A deep understanding of integrations, APIs and data migration strategies
- Experience delivering end-to-end Business Central implementations in Agile environments
- Strong consulting, facilitation and communication skills - you're as comfortable writing AL code as you are in stakeholder meetings
- Ability to lead system design and architecture, with a focus on performance, scalability and user experience
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for staying current with product updates
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and vendors and simplifying complex IT concepts for non-technical audiences
