Systems Engineer

We're looking for two experienced Systems Engineers who know their way around complex combat and mission systems.

You'll assist with bringing together technologies like combat management systems, sensors, comms, navigation, and onboard support systems. Playing a pivotal role in ensuring all the components work together seamlessly to keep naval platforms running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Engineering on Defence program, ideally within the Maritime domain.

• Contract role with initial 6 month period (high potential to extend)
• July start.
• CDB Location.
• Must hold a AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver combat system designs using systems engineering.
• Conduct technical investigations and resolve issues.
• Integrate combat systems with platform elements.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation.
• Collaborate within Combat Systems and wider engineering teams.
• Manage engineering projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Mentor junior engineers.
• Ensure compliance with WHSE standards.
  
  

Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics or Communications Systems ideally)
• Extensive experience in complex and technical integration projects, ideally platform experience.
• Very strong Systems Engineering lifecycle and management experience.
• Prior exposure to Defence combat or communications systems.
