As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will actively drive the enterprise architecture strategy, contributing significantly to the organisation's adaptability, agility and resilience. With our new technology strategy underway, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening enterprise capabilities across the group. In this role, you will utilise your specialised knowledge in enterprise architecture to facilitate discussions, influence business decisions, and contribute to strategic planning sessions at senior levels.

The position is open to candidates in both Brisbane and Sydney, offering you the flexibility to work from home two days a week.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Defining and evolving the enterprise architecture roadmap, ensuring it supports business goals, transformation initiatives, and long-term technology sustainability.
  • Analyse and improve upon related information technology standards across the organisation to maintain a technological and competitive edge within the market.
  • Oversee alignment of solution architectures with enterprise strategies, ensuring integration, scalability, and alignment with cyber security and regulatory standards.
  • Strategically influence and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to drive the adoption of the enterprise architectural roadmap.
  • Continuously inform and align with initiative sponsors and senior executives regarding the progress and shifts in the technology landscape that could impact the organisation.
  • Guide issues, conflicts, and priorities effectively, maintaining clear and consistent communication with senior stakeholders and preparing for Architecture Review Board engagements.


Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise and domain/solution architecture role focused on enterprise architecture development and strategic technology planning.
  • Strong financial services background is essential, preferably in banking.
  • Exceptional stakeholder relationship management, consultation, negotiation, and facilitation skills at senior levels, paired with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experienced in preparing comprehensive reports and presentations for Boards, Steering Committees, and project forums.
  • An enterprise thinker and leader, seen as a trusted business partner and consultant, who is committed to driving forward-thinking changes within the organisation.
  • Demonstrated strategic and tactical acumen with a proven track record in implementing significant, business-critical capability development projects.
