OT Linux Systems Administrator

Role : OT Linux Systems Engineer

• 12 months initial engagement
• Possible 12 months extension
• Newstead based
• 50 % WFH (5 days per fortnight)
• Daily rate $900/ day onwards

About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Grid Control Specialist to support the operations of a complex, state-wide Distribution Management System (DMS) used for real-time power network control and outage management.
This role sits within a high-performing engineering team responsible for mission-critical OT/IT systems. You will contribute to system design, integration, performance monitoring, issue remediation, and maintenance of non-production and production environments.
Essential Skills:

• Advanced Linux/UNIX administration (Red Hat preferred).
• Experience with GE ADMS or similar OT systems.
• Strong background in IT systems integration, networking, virtualisation, and scripting.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of electrical power or control systems.
• Oracle RDBMS experience in complex data environments.
