As part of this investment, BDO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced internal audit and assurances professionals to join our Risk Advisory team across Consultant to Manager levels.
Our team supports organisations in improving operations and accomplishing objectives through the evaluation of decision-making, risk management, control, and governance processes. You’ll work across both government and private sectors, alongside a team known for its collaborative culture, technical excellence, and client impact.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Working with a dynamic group of Partners and broader team to further develop and grow the RAS practice, which include the following:
- Managing or delivering a variety of projects in accordance with BDO’s methodologies and procedures. This will include report writing and communicating with clients.
- Collaborating across various BDO teams to deliver valuable advice and precise recommendations to our clients in relation to their risks, technology, business, and other relevant initiatives.
- Leading or supporting business development activities including engaging with current and potential future clients, tracking potential engagement opportunities, and developing proposals.
- Making a valuable contribution to the development of junior staff through coaching, mentoring and training as appropriate.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with clients (and the broader industry) and working with Partners in creating future business opportunities.
- Experience delivering Internal Audit related services within a professional services environment or a large complex organisation .
- Strong knowledge of governance, risk management, and control frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
- Depending on the seniority of the role, ability to lead, or contribute to, client relationships and business development activities and initiatives
