We are currently seeking a Marketing Finance Officer to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team, based in our Brisbane CBD office.
About The Role
This role plays an important part in ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure collection of revenue from coal sales. You’ll be responsible for managing invoicing and supporting the Marketing Finance Lead across a range of sales and marketing financial processes and documentation.

We are currently seeking a Marketing Finance Officer to join our dynamic Sales & Marketing team, based in our Brisbane CBD office.
About The Role
This role plays an important part in ensuring the accurate, timely, and secure collection of revenue from coal sales. You’ll be responsible for managing invoicing and supporting the Marketing Finance Lead across a range of sales and marketing financial processes and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and send customer shipping documents and coal sales invoices.
- Manage credit and debit notes and support Letter of Credit documentation.
- Coordinate demurrage and despatch payments and receivables.
- Reconcile daily bank statements for the Marketing Team and process foreign currency payments.
- Maintain a register of key publication subscriptions and collate coal sales contracts.
- Submit export declarations to the Australian Government.
- Assist with month-end revenue tasks and coal sales forecasting/reporting.
- Streamline marketing filing systems and support wider business objectives through collaboration.
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Experience in a similar role (ideally within industry).
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
