This is a high-impact role where you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, your team and the customer to deliver strategic account plans, drive performance, and ensure Detpak remains a supplier of choice.

About The Opportunity

We invite applications from experienced Account Manager’s to lead the McDonald’s ANZ team.

Based in Adelaide and reporting to the General Manager McDonald’s, this role centres on executing strategic account plans and supporting the broader team in cultivating strong stakeholder relationships and consistently driving sustainable, profitable growth.

You’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of key McDonald’s targets, managing quality and performance forums, leading business-as-usual customer service and engagement activities. This includes coordinating forecasting, demand planning, and new item onboarding across multiple high-volume product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day to day account management and direct report
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Execute and update strategic account plans for the ANZ region
  • Lead customer service forums, WIP meetings, and QBRs
  • Drive growth, new business development, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee forecasting, demand planning, and raw material transitions
  • Manage stock levels, aged inventory, and onboarding of new items via Salesforce
  • Coordinate product development requests, monitor lead times and forecasts


About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Experience in a similar Account Management role
  • Relevant industry experience across operational and commercial functions.
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated commercial acumen to deliver customer objectives.
  • Proven success in managing end to end customer accounts and teams to deliver exceptional service outcomes.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to build credible relationships
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills across all levels of the business
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
  • A customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering successful outcomes
