About The Role
We’re seeking dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our supportive team, with opportunities available across various locations in Sydney, including Blacktown, The Ponds, Hornsby, St Ives, and more. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to clients with intellectual disabilities, helping them engage and participate in the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.

- Casual Hourly Rate: From $34.58 + 25% casual loading (plus applicable penalty rates)

About The Role

In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to clients with intellectual disabilities, helping them engage and participate in the community. You’ll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Deliver active support aligned with each client’s goals and support plans
- Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
- Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
- Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
- Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
- Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
- Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines
- Willing to work short shifts, weekends, and public holidays
- Hold a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
- Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
- Experienced in disability support (preferred)
- Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
