Salary
$112,327 to $125,258 per annum (based on 70 hours per fortnight), plus superannuation and a 9 day fortnight. Appointed salary in this range will be based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role
As a valued senior member of the team, you will be involved in exciting strategic land use planning projects within the Hornsby local government area. The position services Council’s constituents and external customers and contributes to the Planning Division’s objective of striking a balance between meetings the needs of Hornsby Shire’s growing population and protecting its natural environment.
Position Requirements
Applicants should have completed a Town Planning Degree and have sound experience in;
You are a pro-active, enthusiastic person who has good organisational and time-management skills and the ability to plan and implement projects and mentor other staff. You have high level professional knowledge and skills and advanced research, analysis and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in oral and written communication is essential in fulfilling the tasks associated with reporting and presenting complex issues to Council and the community. A commitment to efficient and effective customer service is also essential.
