We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to lead our Launceston team. As part of Kinetic – Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most trusted bus operator – you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Depot Manager to lead our Launceston team. As part of Kinetic – Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most trusted bus operator – you’ll play a critical role in ensuring our depot runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead and support a team of Supervisors and Administrators to ensure daily operations meet key network performance targets
- Manage depot activities including scheduling, compliance, incident response, and contractor engagement
- Drive safety, risk management, and operational improvements across the site
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams, unions, and external stakeholders
- Be the point of escalation for operational and people-related matters
- Leadership experience in transport, logistics, or related operational environments
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
- The ability to manage industrial relations, compliance, and operational standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a sound understanding of performance metrics
- A current MR licence and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
