About the opportunity:


The Admin Assistant is part of the Wilson Homes Sales Estimating team and reports to the Sales Estimating Manager. The key focus of this role is to manage the workflow of the department to ensure that key deliverables and timeframes are met for each of the business units. More specifically, you will:

  • Review and verify documentation from the Sales team to ensure accuracy before delegating to Sales Estimating team
  • Enter new jobs into BusinessCraft and track the progress through detailed reporting
  • Coordinate the collection of statutory reports from external consultants and suppliers, ensuring timely receipt.
  • Update the team when reports are ready for assessment
  • Allocate and monitor workflow tasks, identifying jobs that may be at risk of delay
  • Accurately store job-related documents including, reports and site inspections in the system, complying with document control procedures
  • Distribute finalised and approved documents to the sales team
  • To support your development, the company would provide financial support to complete Cert IV in Building and Construction after the qualifying period.


About you


To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of the NEX Group along with:
  • Experience in administration, preferably within construction or building industry
  • Strong stakeholder management, friendly, confident and possess a “Can do attitude”
  • Exceptional computer skills, including experience in Excel, Outlook
  • Outstanding attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines and strive to reach targets
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Desire to build a long-term career in construction
  • Committed to completion of Cert IV Building and Construction
