About the Role
We are currently seeking a Studio Manager to join our Sydney studio. This is a unique opportunity to lead and coordinate the smooth daily running of the studio while actively supporting the needs of our talented design teams. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a high-functioning, positive, and well-resourced studio environment that underpins project success and team wellbeing.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day studio operations including facilities, supplies, phone coverage, and front-of-house experience
- Act as the go-to person for studio support, resourcing, and basic IT coordination
- Support studio teams with their operational, contract, and project needs
- Coordinate onboarding/offboarding in collaboration with People & Culture and IT
- Manage procurement, budgets, and supplier relationships
- Support QA documentation, audit preparation, and compliance activity
- Plan and coordinate studio events, CPD sessions, and cultural initiatives
- Foster a professional, collaborative, and high-performing studio environment
What You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in studio, office, or practice management roles within creative, architecture, or professional services environments
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate teams, systems, and priorities across a dynamic studio
- Proven capability in supporting resourcing, contract coordination, and project operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a service-oriented mindset
- Proficiency with administrative and financial systems, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and tools like Deltek
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, QA processes, and document control (preferred)
- Confidence handling procurement, supplier engagement, and studio budgets
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach with a genuine interest in contributing to studio success and team wellbeing
