About the Role:

We are on the hunt for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Quality and Regulatory team for this 12 month contract opportunity. In this role you will be encouraged to be forward thinking and constantly looking for new and better ways to deliver excellence within the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of new policies and procedures including co-creation of the methods
• Active involvement rolling out our food safety program, product labelling and specifications
• Audit preparation including liaison with internal auditees on corrective action plans
• Oversee adherence to scheduled production and environmental testing
• Manage food safety training program
• Work with internal stakeholders by providing guidance on food safety processes

With no two days the same, you’ll need to be flexible and able to multi-task.

What we would like you to bring:

• Quality Assurance experience in a FMCG food industry environment
• Tertiary qualifications in food technology/science
• Understanding of the QA requirements in a production and retail food environment
• Experience in developing and maintaining QA systems (HACCP, ISO9000, FSSC 22000, BRC, Change Management etc.
• Advanced level skills in Excel and proficient across a range of MS suite platforms
• Excellent communication skills
• Sharp eye, attention to detail
• The ability to make decisions and influence change
