Your New Role

  • 12 month max term role
  • Open to Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane based candidates

As a Direct Acquisition Growth Specialist, you will be part of the Acquisition Value Stream team. Your primary responsibility will be to attract, activate, onboard, and retain members through various channels, including direct and intermediated sources. You will manage end-to-end campaign execution across performance media channels, collaborating cross-functionally to optimize acquisition campaigns that comply with regulatory requirements and deliver strong member engagement.

Key responsibilities will include:


  • Oversee the creation, iteration, and distribution of creative and copy for campaigns
  • Partner with analytics and compliance teams to ensure data-driven and compliant campaigns
  • Utilise cohort analysis and behavioural segmentation to tailor messaging by audience
  • Continuously recommend optimisations to enhance prospective member experiences across various channels
  • Measure and report on performance using metrics like ROAS, customer lifetime value (CLV), CPA, and CVR.
  • Responsible for executing activities, campaigns, and enhancements through squad-based delivery
  • Contribute to the ongoing optimisation of digital acquisition channels and journeys
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital advertising and online growth.


To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Design or technology or equivalent work experience
  • Working Knowledge of Marketing and advertising technology, including Customer Data Platforms and Analytics platforms
  • Very strong knowledge of current and emerging maketing technology and journey / experience design
  • Ten or more years of experience in Marketing / Digital Marketing / IT, preferably within financial services with demonstratable leadership responsibilities
  • Five or more years experience in Lifecycle marketing or equivalent role, preferably within financial services
  • Broad knowledge of the Superannuation industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly competent planning and coordination skills; demonstrated by an ability to manage conflicting priorities to optimise the achievement of business objectives
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to facilitate large groups of executives and other senior staff
