About the role
12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Melbourne Based | Hybrid Office
AGL is seeking an experienced Product & Pricing Capability Manager to support the delivery of technical and business requirements across our Residential and Business energy products. This role plays a key part in enabling product initiatives that align with our broader Product and Proposition strategy.

We're looking for a strategic and collaborative leader who can build strong stakeholder relationships, influence at a senior level, and ensure initiatives deliver value to both AGL and our customers. The role also involves identifying opportunities to support the growth and development of team members.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and Empower the Development Team - Drive team performance through strong leadership, fostering engagement, growth, agile practices, and succession planning.
• Oversee End-to-End Product Development - Manage the full product lifecycle, ensuring timely, risk-mitigated delivery aligned to business priorities and customer outcomes.
• Enhance Development Frameworks and Systems - Continuously improve processes, systems, and timelines to optimise efficiency, reduce risk, and maintain operational integrity.
• Champion Agile and Cross-Functional Ways of Working - Promote agile methodologies, coach teams, and embed proactive risk management across the development ecosystem.
• Influence Strategy Through Stakeholder Engagement and Technical Leadership - Build strong relationships, provide strategic guidance, and offer technical insight to support innovation and product design.

About you:

• Strong leadership skills, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial understanding, analytical and reporting skills.
• Ability to understand operational environment and consider system capabilities and business processes for decision - making.
• Proven experience working within a capability/development environment.
• Delivery focused with customer in forefront of mind.
