Description

Aurora’s Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy asset owners, operators, developers, and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics are performed and delivered. To best enable the user experience, both through product development and analysis delivery, Aurora is developing a global technical Customer Solutions team that provides the critical end-to-end interface between the underlying model development and the end user.


We are currently looking for a Senior Associate to join us in Melbourne, to manage and deliver on the strategic objectives of Aurora’s APAC Customer Solutions team. This role sits cross-functionally between the Advisory, Product, Research, and Commercial teams at Aurora, and is a critical enabler for the expansion of Aurora’s software product suite in the APAC region.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & manage the APAC Customer Solutions team, working with senior management to define and execute strategic decisions for the team, overseeing the professional development of the team, and ensuring that they are equipped to support Aurora’s software customers across the APAC region
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of client support interactions, ensuring that client problems are diagnosed effectively, handled efficiently by the team, and liaising with other internal teams as required to deliver impactful solutions
  • Ensure that client feedback and concerns about Aurora’s software products are taken seriously, and collaborate with internal teams to reflect long-term solutions in product roadmaps
  • Engage with other managers in the global Customer Solutions team, sharing best practice, transferring learnings and driving thought-leadership activities


What we are looking for

Required attributes:

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in an analytical and knowledge-driven role, preferably with experience in power markets
  • Effective problem-solving skillset, with the ability to interpret complex problems and the initiative to lead end-to-end diagnosis and resolution in a manner that optimises outcomes for the customer and the business
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally and to engage effectively with internal & external stakeholders of varied seniority and with varied subject matter expertise
  • Results-driven, with a high degree of persistence in reaching goals and a hands-on approach to ensuring targets are achieved


Desirable attributes:

  • Experience managing a team
  • Knowledge of multiple power markets in APAC
  • Power markets analysis and/or modelling experience
  • Consulting experience
