Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Team Leader, the Clinical Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of processes related to stored materials, including reception, storage, shipment, returns, and destruction for clinical trial distribution. This position is responsible for verifying processes and approving shipments for distribution in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Operations Team Leader, the Clinical Operations Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of processes related to stored materials, including reception, storage, shipment, returns, and destruction for clinical trial distribution. This position is responsible for verifying processes and approving shipments for distribution in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Are Not Limited To
- Lead, verify and approve operational tasks
- Release shipments for distribution
- Manage product status changes both physically and systematically
- Lead and follow packaging instructions for secondary packaging relabelling tasks, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Distribution Practices
- Participate in an on-call roster, providing 24/7 telephone assistance and in-person emergency response for temperature control concerns at the facility
- Contribute to the review and creation of global and local SOPs, work instructions and training documents
- Work in temperature-controlled environments, including:
- +15 to +25°C +2 to +8°C -20 to -30°C
- Physically handle packing processes for inbound, outbound, and returned shipments
- Maintain full proficiency in the Clinical ERP system
Clinical Operations Team Leader
Education
- Tertiary qualification e.g diploma or equivalent and/or required training in pharmaceutical service is required for this position, whenever local regulation is allowing this associate to perform the mentioned activities
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics role within the pharmaceutical sector
- Preferable for candidate to have some work experience in warehousing
- Understanding of GxP requirements
- Ability to lift loads of up to 20 kg independently, using safe lifting methods
- Be able to take initiative and solve problems
- Self driven and can work autonomously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands.
