The Opportunity

We’re growing fast at Chobani, and as we invest in our future and set ourselves up for long-term success, we’re on the lookout for an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our newly formed Process Engineering team at our Dandenong South site.

In this role, you’ll put your engineering know-how to good use — improving how we make our yogurt, leading productivity projects, and helping us keep quality high while cutting waste and streamlining how we work.

You’ll work closely with a bunch of teams across the business, taking the lead on some pretty exciting, large-scale projects as part of our Productivity Program. You’ll also support New Product Development and get involved in two of our biggest capital projects to date — plus, you'll be at the forefront of sustainability work that’s set to transform how we do things at Chobani.

Using data from multiple sources, you’ll dig into process insights to spot risks, uncover opportunities for standardisation, and identify where we can really dial up performance.

Skills & Experience

Ideally to be successful in the role you will have:

• Around 8+ years of Process Engineering experience, ideally with a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering

• A background in food, dairy or beverage (think liquids, juices, UHT, etc.) within a consumer goods setting

• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to roll out everything from quick wins to large-scale solutions

• Great at solving problems, juggling priorities and keeping projects on track

• Experience with SCADA systems, a knack for continuous improvement and a solid understanding of Lean principles
