Key Responsibilities

Your role in a nutshell

No two days for a Check Point Sales Engineer (Pre-Sales) are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects.

You will be responsible for

  • Working with a customer base that will be 100% Acquisition/New logos, influencing technical decision makers and architects in Large Enterprises
  • Working closely with our Sales Team in providing recommendations on appropriate Check Point solutions to meet our customer’s cyber security needs.
  • Providing insight and advice to potential and existing customers based on Check Point's best practice, applying your skills and knowledge in our industry to drive the optimal outcome.
  • Lead the technical engagement, addressing technical questions, providing consultative advice, and managing key tasks such as Proof-of-Value and Cyber Workshops
  • Support the responses to RFI's & RFP's with the relevant bid teams
  • Engaging and supporting the enablement of key partners and customers on the latest Cyber Security Technologies.
  • Active participation in cyber security events

Qualifications

What you bring to the table

  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent Industry experience
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering and pre-sales experience
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Have good understanding of typical customer architecture and cyber needs
  • Exposure to network, cloud and End Point security is advantageous
  • Bring a customer first mindset and experience in working with large to medium enterprise organizations
  • Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer’s environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Relevant certifications highly preferred, e.g. CCNP / CISSP/ CCSA / CCSE
  • Existing right to work in Australia
