Context
gwi.digital is building out a GRC and cybersecurity practice as part of its overall portfolio, with a focus on small to medium business, not for profit, local and state government and education across QLD, NSW and VIC.
We have existing customers, vendor relationships and a sales pipeline, and we need someone to take on the playmaker role for the growing practice.
This role is for candidates with existing professional services experience.

Role Activities
- Collaborate with gwi.digital sales functions to sell new GRC and cybersecurity engagements – through a combination of account management, new business development and formal tenders
- Interact with vendors/partners in the GRC and cybersecurity domain (specifically AWS, Microsoft, Drata, Vanta, ApolloSecure, AssuranceLab, Huntress, Avepoint) in both go to market and service delivery management motions
- Manage commercial and technical delivery of GRC and cybersecurity engagements (a combination of customer management, project management, service management)
- Manage resourcing of GRC and cybersecurity projects and managed services through a combination of staffing, contractors, consultants and partners
- Contribute technically to GRC and cybersecurity engagements (bring some useful practitioner skills, noting that gwi.digital tends to do more compliance than security work)
- Bring subject matter expertise in GRC and cybersecurity aspects of other large gwi.digital engagements in enterprise applications, data and AI
- Minimum 8-10 years progressive experience in GRC and/or cybersecurity
- Sales and commercial management experience across both projects and managed services, ideally in GRC and/or cybersecurity
- Proven experience in managing technical consulting and product implementation delivery for small projects (CV $100-250K)
- Domain knowledge of major GRC and cybersecurity frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST CSF
- Strong commercial acumen (eg margins and profitability, licensing and services)
- Bonus points for GRC and cybersecurity training and certification relevant to gwi.digital’s service lines
- Bonus points for a network of experts with GRC and cybersecurity skills
- Bonus points for Gen AI data security and risk exposure
