Alstom has been awarded the PTA Australia’s $1.6 billion Railcar Program. As part of the project we will design, manufacture and maintain 246 new railcars needed for Metronet projects and the replacement of the A-series trains. We will also deliver 6 DMU (diesel multiple unit) railcars to replace the five diesel railcars that operate the twice daily Australind service between Perth and Bunbury.
The Industrial Quality Inspector is a 12 month fixed term contract, you will report to the Production Manager and be required to perform inspections and ensure product compliance according to our Quality Control Plan.

Your future role:
- Records inspection results in the industrial digital tools as required
- Support EPU manager for Station to Station Hand Over
- Perform Workstation Quality Animation with EPU (Elementary Production Unit) manager including simple problem solving.
- Perform destructive & non-destructive examinassions
- Inspection method time adherence
- Self-Inspection effectiveness
- Management of rework (Validation included).
All about you:
- Ability to read drawings / specifications and familiar with a variety of test equipment
- Quality inspection experience within manufacturing industry including using of digital tools.
- Associates degree, technical major preferred.
