The Role

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for mining consumables and fixed plant services aligned with business goals and operational needs.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including market analysis, RFx processes, bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and award decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, maintenance, and finance to define requirements, identify opportunities, and drive cost reductions.
• Conduct spend analysis and supplier research to build a strategic sourcing baseline and inform decision-making.
• Manage supplier relationships (SRM) to ensure performance, foster innovation, and maintain continuity of supply.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and ethical sourcing practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and support contract implementation and lifecycle management.
