With a strong pipeline and reputation for collaborative project delivery, they are now expanding their Queensland operations and seeking a strategic Business Development Manager to drive sustainable growth.

About The Role

Based in Brisbane or regional QLD, you'll take the lead in identifying and converting new business opportunities across public and private sector clients. With a focus on transport infrastructure, water and wastewater, renewables, and social infrastructure, this role offers a platform to influence long-term outcomes while working with high-performing technical and operational teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a robust pipeline of projects >$50M across Queensland.
  • Engage directly with government clients, utility providers, and major contractors to position the business as a partner of choice.
  • Shape bid strategies in collaboration with estimating, engineering, and delivery functions.
  • Lead opportunity pursuit through EOIs, RFTs, and direct negotiations.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regional priorities, and emerging opportunities across infrastructure and energy.
  • Represent the business at key industry forums, tender briefings, and stakeholder meetings.


About You

  • Proven experience in business development, estimating or project leadership roles within the civil infrastructure space.
  • Demonstrated success winning work in Queensland across road, rail, water, energy, or defence markets.
  • Strong client relationships across TMR, local councils, utilities or private developers.
  • A commercially minded communicator with strong influencing skills and technical credibility.
  • Solutions-focused, proactive, and energised by growth.
