The Role

The Role
Reporting into the General Manager, this is a classic all-rounder role. Ideal for someone who enjoys end-to-end financial control and is ready to roll up their sleeves in a hands-on environment.
Key Duties Include
- Full ownership of month-end process including journals, accruals, prepayments, GL and P&L
- Preparation and lodgement of BAS, Payroll Tax, and WorkCover
- Oversee and process weekly payroll using ADP, including new starters, terminations and wage increases
- Reconciliation of bank accounts, superannuation contributions, and credit card expenses
- Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow, and assist with budgeting
- Supervise and support junior finance staff (AP/AR)
- Liaise with ATO and external tax agents as needed
- Present financials to senior leadership and contribute to operational decision-making
- Play a key role in process improvement initiatives

The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics BC
- A degree in Accounting or Finance is essential. CPA/ CA is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supervising others and effectively managing stakeholder relationships across all levels of the business
