In Australia, Pan Pacific Hotels Group operates six hotels including the newly refurbished Pan Pacific Perth. Featuring 488 elegant guest rooms and suites, the exclusive Pacific Club Lounge, Award winning Uma Restaurant and an expansive MICE offering, Pan Pacific Perth is undergoing an exciting transformation and we’re looking for an experienced Director of People & Culture to guide and inspire our passionate team.

As Director of People & Culture, you’ll be a key architect of our new erashaping the team experience, elevating our guest service culture, and ensuring our team thrives as we redefine contemporary luxury hospitality in the region.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle – from recruitment and onboarding to training and development, performance management, grievances and offboarding.
  • Drive culture, boost engagement, and champion the employee experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant Australian Legislation, Modern Awards and EBAs.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and compliance with PPHG policies and audit standards.
  • Manage a People & Culture team of three, ensuring a focus on their ongoing development.
  • Promote a culture of safety, wellbeing and inclusion throughout the hotel.

Ideally You Will Have

  • Proven leadership experience in People & Culture within the Hospitality Industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Australian employment law, Fair Work Act, Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently.
  • The discretion and professionalism to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Experience navigating and adapting to a range of online systems and HR technologies.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport at all levels.
