Your role

The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for delivering quality and timely facilities maintenance services to the Departments assets and stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose, value for money outsourced facilities maintenance meets contracted organisational, public sector and legislative requirements within Correctional Centre’s, Youth Justice Centre and Courts.

What You’ll Do

As part of the Facilities Maintenance team within Infrastructure and Assets, you will be responsible for facilities maintenance delivery ensuring it is fit for purpose, value for money, meets organisational, public sector and legislative requirements for the Correctional Centre’s, Youth Justice Facilities and Courts.

Duties include stakeholder engagement, site visits and audits, reviewing & approving quotes, oversight of contract requirement ensuring service delivery outcomes, insurance claims, financial review of costs, analysing data and performance within portals, attending operational meetings.

The role requires extensive travel across the region.

Flexible and agile working conditions and no two days can look the same.

The facilities maintenance team work collaboratively across the portfolios and regions. A friendly, dedicated & hard-working team who strive for the best outcomes for their sites and stakeholders. The role is demanding, multi-facet and competing priorities.

The team is really aligned, work well together, enjoys a laugh and bouncing ideas at each other.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have extensive facilities maintenance contract management experience

managing a large portfolio. Understand statutory maintenance requirements, legislation, Reactive, Planned Preventative, Major Periodic Maintenance prioritisation.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. MS Teams

Someone who can hit the ground running, has drive and passion about maintenance & service delivery, present confidently to stakeholders, works well in a team and independently.

Confident in own ability driving, staying at accommodation and being out in the field/region.
