The Opportunity

As the Procurement Category Specialist – CAPEX, you will play a key role in shaping and executing procurement strategies that drive value, ensure compliance, and strengthen supplier relationships across our CAPEX portfolio. This is a pivotal role that partners closely with stakeholders to deliver best-in-class sourcing outcomes aligned with CSR's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement short- and medium-term sourcing plans for CAPEX procurement.
  • Establish and lead a compliance program to ensure governance and safety standards are met.
  • Optimise category spend and drive supplier collaboration to reduce costs and enhance supply chain resilience.
  • Leverage global best practices, including Saint-Gobain procurement systems, to align with CSR's strategic direction.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and delivery of optimal procurement outcomes.
  • Design and implement governance frameworks that support WHSE compliance and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement through streamlined processes and systems.
  • Monitor and adapt procurement practices to meet evolving market, organisational, and legislative requirements.

About You

  • 5+ years' experience in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Proven track record in implementing procurement and supplier management strategies.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Effective leadership and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to CSR's safety-first culture and values.
