Your new role

We deliver high-quality care to support children and young people in foster care. Our program is designed to help children heal from trauma and thrive. We are committed to a collaborative, inclusive approach where our carers play a crucial role in the care team.

As a Therapeutic Case Manager, Foster Care, you will play an important role in supporting children and young people in foster care, including facilitating transitions, coordinating caregiver matches, and ensuring best-practice care.

You will work closely with foster carers, families, and a network of professionals, ensuring that each child receives the specialised care they need to overcome their past experiences and achieve their full potential.

Your skills and experience

You Will Bring With You

  • Post-secondary qualifications in Welfare, Social Work, Child Development or relevant qualification (if Diploma level, willing to study further)
  • Current Victorian drivers licence
  • Current CPR and First Aid certificate
  • Demonstrated ability to provide safe environments for children and young people and protect them from abuse and neglect.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of issues surrounding the out-of-home care system and the available resources and services in Gippsland
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with adults, adolescents, children and sector representatives.
