What’s the role?

An exciting opportunity is available for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our Workplace Directory Services team. This role is essential for building new automation, supporting the migration of automation from legacy systems to enterprise toolsets, and maintaining critical team tools and monitoring dashboards.

Key responsibilities include leading the migration of automation from legacy platforms to enterprise toolsets like Ansible Automation Platform and GitHub Enterprise. This role involves building and maintaining ServiceNow (SNOW) forms and Splunk dashboards to support seamless operations and data visibility. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure the successful implementation and integration of automation solutions. Additionally, the role requires supporting and troubleshooting automation tools and keeping clear documentation to ensure smooth knowledge sharing and continuity.

What do I need?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automation engineering or a related role.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in DevOps automation methodologies such as
    • Version Control (GitHub, Bitbucket)
    • Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery CI/CD (Jenkins, Bamboo, Azure DevOps)
    • Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef)
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
  • Experience with ServiceNow Form Design desirable.
  • Proven experience in creating and maintaining Splunk dashboards.
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Ruby, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
