  • Deliver water extraction, structural drying, and dehumidification processes.
  • Carry out specialist cleaning, sanitation, and deodorisation of affected areas.
  • Use power and hand tools to safely complete restoration activities on site.
  • Maintain accurate job records and documentation, ensuring compliance with insurance and regulatory standards.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and site requirements.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, insurers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of restoration equipment, reporting faults promptly.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential

  • Strong practical skills, with confidence using power tools and hand tools.
  • Physically fit – able to lift, bend, carry equipment, and work in confined spaces.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • Reliable and adaptable; able to think on your feet and problem-solve in real time.
  • Team-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Comfortable operating vans or commercial vehicles.
  • Willingness to participate in out-of-hours work, including emergency call-outs when required.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in fire and/or flood restoration.
  • Experience working within the insurance restoration sector.
  • Familiarity with restoration industry equipment (e.g., dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, moisture meters).
