THE ROLE
We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join our growing Logistics team.
Responsible for the quality, service and integrity of the Inventory management function across the site and customer facing in relation to all Inventory specific issues. Responsible for assisting the inventory department with data collection, analysis, reporting to internal stakeholders as well as the customer, development and implementation of procedures that will contribute to the site operations with focus on Inventory management improvements including cycle counts and stock take.

We are seeking an Inventory Controller to join our growing Logistics team.
Responsible for the quality, service and integrity of the Inventory management function across the site and customer facing in relation to all Inventory specific issues. Responsible for assisting the inventory department with data collection, analysis, reporting to internal stakeholders as well as the customer, development and implementation of procedures that will contribute to the site operations with focus on Inventory management improvements including cycle counts and stock take.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management & Accuracy Oversee all inventory operations including stock integrity, product movement, cycle counts, and stocktakes. Investigate discrepancies and ensure WMS data accuracy.
- Process Improvement & Compliance Continuously review and enhance inventory systems and procedures to boost accuracy, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with WH&S and industrial legislation.
- Planning & Coordination Lead inventory planning and labour allocation to meet SLAs. Collaborate with operations and customer service to streamline warehouse functions and resolve issues.
- Quality Assurance & Financial Oversight Perform QA checks, support periodic inventories, and work with finance to ensure accurate invoicing, cost control, and financial reporting.
- Reporting & Client Engagement Liaise with operations and account management to deliver accurate reporting, resolve client issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- 2-3 years of experience in the Logistics Industry as an Inventory Controller or Supervisor
- Proficiency in WMS systems and RF environments
- Excellent customer service, communication, and team management skills
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Exceed WMS, etc.)
- OH&S awareness and knowledge of pallet control
