Content and Community Coordinator
Fluent Commerce is a rapidly growing business that heavily invests in community enablement to scale community self-service across the partner network and its broad customer base. It’s an exciting time to join the business!
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Content and Community Coordinator to join our Enablement team. This role is ideal for someone eager to support our customer training, documentation platform, and help grow our developer community. As a Content and Community Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in encouraging community initiatives and documentation creation, ensuring that it is effective, audience-centric, and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with the community: Content creation is all about collaboration, and engaging with internal and external community members helps us drive content production. It is crucial for improving content rapidly with the help and scale of an engaged community.
- Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information for documentation and other content.
- Content creation: Create content across various mediums, such as written descriptive text and informative visuals.
- Content quality control: Proofread, edit, and review materials, as well as documentation, to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to our guidelines.
- Leverage data: Consult and leverage data in day-to-day decisions as well as support the team in turning data into meaningful information, such as monthly usage reports with actionable recommendations.
- Highlight great content to inspire SMEs to engage and contribute.
- Feedback implementation: Monitor and respond to feedback from learners and other stakeholders in internal channels (such as Slack and email), updating content, managing our ideas repository, and coordinating with team members as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
- Strong writing and editing skills, experience as a Technical Writer or Business Analyst is a plus, but not essential. Experience gained through personal projects, community contributions, or free-time initiatives is also valued.
- Demonstrable experience writing technical documentation or documentation/content for a technical audience are a plus.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), learning management systems (LMS), or community systems.
- A degree in User Experience, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred, but if you have technical experience or even as a hobby, that works too.
- Self-driven and hands-on: Proven experience drive continuous improvements of existing content or drive gap assessments.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, approachable, and easy to work with.
