Your New Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Business Resiliency, the Business Resiliency Testing Lead is a key member of the Business Resilience Team within the Compliance & Operational Risk Department.
In this new role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive business resiliency testing programs to ensure our organisation can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions within tolerance levels.
Key duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a robust business resiliency testing program that aligns with the organisation's overall business continuity strategy and the requirements of CPS230.
- Design, schedule and facilitate a multi-year plan of scenario testing plan across the Fund including tabletop exercises, simulations and full-scale drills.
- Be the key point person with external stakeholders and vendors to align industry wide and targeted testing exercises.
- Collaborate with various departments to schedule critical operation resiliency testing.
- Ensure that all testing activities evolve to be best in class while maintaining currency with regulatory requirements under CPS230 and internal policies.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all testing activities, including test plans, scenarios, results, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with material service providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated testing efforts across critical operations are undertaken.
- Operate and make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities.
- Ensure relevant legislative and organisational requirements are met; keep up to date on all key changes to relevant regulations.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business continuity and/or risk management, with a focus on testing and evaluation.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices, such as CPS230 and ISO 22301.
- Proven experience in leading and managing complex testing programs or projects.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), are highly desirable.
