About The Role

We are now looking for an Event Workforce Coordinator to join our People team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this role, you will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of a consistent and engaging experience for event workforce teams across Tennis Australia’s major events.

In this role you will:

  • Support Workforce Lifecycle Management: Coordinate and execute end-to-end processes for casual staff and volunteers, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, contracts, shift tracking, and documentation.
  • Coordinate Inclusive Recruitment: Assist with hiring for major events, maintain up-to-date contracts, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure inclusive and structured workforce planning.
  • Maintain Accurate Workforce Data: Collect, collate, update, and cross-check data across systems to ensure accuracy, identify gaps, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Execute Communications and Provide Stakeholder Support: Send workforce communications, respond to queries, and support managers with recruitment, compliance, and recognition programs.
  • Provide Admin and Process Improvement Support: Deliver timely admin support, coordinate logistics, and help improve processes by identifying gaps and suggesting solutions.


About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in HR administration and/or events coordination.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A proactive, reliable, and supportive approach to administrative work.
  • Confidence using systems and a willingness to learn and improve tools and processes.
  • Value inclusion and actively contribute to a positive, welcoming workforce environment.
  • Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
