What’s the role?
As part the Consumer Division Product Finance team you will support the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful management reporting (reporting, analysis, forecasting and insight).
- Develop an understanding of the Mortgages Line of Business (LOB) and Consumer business, including consumer products and distribution channels
- Analysis and reporting of Mortgage LOB financial results including Revenue, Expense and Balance Sheet, leading to actionable advice, identification of business opportunities and maximum benefits realisation
- Develop a deep understanding of key revenue forecasting tool to make use of in the analysis of the Mortgage LOB monthly financial results and during forecasting and target setting cycles
- Assist in preparing inputs/analyses to Group for both internal and external reporting
- Assist in addressing ad hoc queries from various stakeholders as necessary
- Update weekly reporting for Mortgage LOB and Consumer division stakeholders
- Planning key activities and managing timelines across stakeholders as necessary
- +2 years relevant experience in a similar level
- Proven experience in analysis, reporting and financial modelling
- Advanced user of analytical tools in Excel
- Experience in using TM1 an advantage
- Excellent proficiency in translating and analysing data
- Presentation skills to high quality and speed: Microsoft power point, thinkcell
- Knowledge of financial accounting for financial services industry an advantage
