Your Role

As a WFI Service Delivery Team Leader, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting a team of consultants as they assist both new and existing valued clients with their insurance needs, ensuring every interaction reflects our customer-first approach. In this leadership role, you’ll guide and empower your team to deliver exceptional service, foster strong client relationships, and drive operational excellence.

You’ll lead, coach, and support your team to consistently deliver high-quality customer experiences, providing regular performance feedback and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you’ll help resolve client issues effectively and ensure a seamless service experience across all touchpoints. You’ll also support the implementation of improved workflows, systems, and policies to enhance operational efficiency.

This is a 12-month Max Term Contract opportunity, and we welcome applicants from Naarm (Melbourne). 

About You 

  • Minimum 3 years’ leadership experience in a Team Leader or similar role, with a proven ability to manage and coordinate team activities. A collaborative style focused on delivering strong customer and business outcomes is essential.
  • Strong insurance industry, product, and technical underwriting knowledge is required, with a Certificate IV or Diploma in General Insurance desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient and adaptable, with a track record of performing under pressure, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining high service standards in dynamic environments.
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, and a passion for continuous improvement, innovation, and supporting a customer-first culture.
  • Tech-savvy and process-minded, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and familiarity with systems like Cisco-CAD, i90, ISS, and CMS. Experience improving workflows and operational efficiency is highly desirable.
