Got a big heart and even bigger marketing chops?
We’re on the lookout for a talented Marketing Lead – Active Living who can juggle big-picture strategy with the small but mighty tasks that keep campaigns ticking. If you’re energised by national awareness campaigns, can rally stakeholders like a pro, and love a good walking plan (literally), we want you on our team.
At the Heart Foundation, we believe every beat counts - and your creativity, energy, and project management flair could help Australians lead more active, heart-healthy lives.
This position is being offered on a full-time fixed term contract (ending 30 June 2026). You will have the opportunity to work flexibly, blending your time between home and one of our east coast offices.
What You'll Be Doing
- Partner with purpose – You’ll be the dedicated marketing lead for our Active Living portfolio, supporting programs like Heart Foundation Walking, Healthy Active by Design, and the Active Australia Innovation Challenge.
- Campaign with impact – Plan, develop and roll out integrated marketing campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels. You'll use a combination of new and existing creative concepts with plenty of room to flex your strategic and tactical muscle.
- Lead with heart – Collaborate with our in-house digital, creative and automation teams to bring campaigns to life and track performance like a pro.
- Bring the brief to life – Develop content and promotional materials, write and review copy, proofread, brief in designs, and make sure everything lands just right.
- Make data your friend – Set KPIs, monitor campaign performance, and provide insights on what’s working and where we can do better.
- Keep the engine running – Work closely with external suppliers like media agencies, videographers and copywriters, while also managing internal stakeholders across teams (there are lots of moving parts and you’ll help them run smoothly).
- Support and guide – Provide strategic direction and workload support to a Marketing Assistant, while being backed by the Senior Marketing Lead and the broader team.
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in a similar level generalist marketing role.
- Experience working for a NFP or in the healthcare or adjacent industry.
- Strong prioritisation and multitasking skills.
- Ability to hit the ground running, show initiative and don’t mind a shoestring budget.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills.
- A knack for stakeholder management and building relationships that last.
