The Boilermaker/Welder is responsible for keeping themselves and their colleagues safe as well as maintaining a clean, tidy and productive work environment.
What's Involved
- Conduct fabrication and welding/boilermaker duties as directed.
- Understand and accept the assigned task.
- Ownership and respect for tools and equipment.
- Completing assigned tasks in full and to the required standard.
- During periods of reduced trade specific works, assist in other trade-based sectors of the business as reasonably directed.
- Understanding, accepting, and delivering the quality standards
Essential
- Trade qualification â Welder/Fabricator, Boat builder or Boilermaker.
- Previous experience in Boilermaking/Welding in heavy industry.
- Able to attain welding qualifications to Survey Body level standard.
- Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
- Demonstrate adequate theoretical knowledge.
- Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
- Possess good time management skills and ability to meet set targets.
- Construction White Card
- First Aid, EWP and Forklift Certification
- Previous experience in Boilermaking/Welding in the Marine Repair industry
