Contract: 6 months
Competitive hourly rate: $55 - $65 p/h + Super

Responsibilities
- Prepare and contribute to precinct plans, master plans, and design frameworks that reflect the Council’s strategic planning objectives, Local Environmental Plans (LEPs), and Development Control Plans (DCPs).
- Assess development applications to ensure high-quality urban and architectural outcomes that enhance walkability, sustainability, accessibility, and place identity.
- Coordinate public consultations, design workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities to gather input and build consensus on urban projects.
- Tertiary qualifications in Urban Design or a related design field
- Minimum 3+ years experience in an Urban Design position
