The Role
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate or Senior Associate with between 3-6 years’ PQE to join our Perth Planning and Environment team, supporting the partner. You will form part of the broader Property & Planning group but will work closely with the Planning & Environment partner on advising on a wide range of planning matters including development applications, merits appeals, due diligence, compulsory acquisition compensation claims, contaminated sites and all other forms of planning agreements. There is also high level admin law and compliance advice involved in some of the work that we do.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have between 3-6 years’ PQE from a reputable practice or in-house role with exposure to property law and some exposure to planning and environment. It goes without saying that you will have excellent legal advice skills, come with a high degree of technical ability and have strong business acumen. You may believe you are not far away from being considered for promotion to a Senior Associate role and we would welcome someone not far from promotion into the team.
